Over his career, he's been nominated for a BAFTA, been the drummer for Teenage Fanclub, and has worked with a range of artists in different capacities including Camera Obscura, The Vaselines, Laura Cantrell, Julie Fowlis, Alex Chilton, Robert Forster, Dan Penn, Edwyn Collins, Max Richter, The Cairn String Quartet and Belle & Sebastian. As a solo artist he's released a handful of albums since 2011's 'Maculate Conceptions'. His latest release, 'Hamilton Mausoleum Suite', is due to arrive on January 26 - named after, inspired by and recorded in its namesake's iconic building located just outside Glasgow.
