Kevin Cronin is an American singer, songwriter and musician from Evanston, Illinois. He is best known as the iconic voice, writer and rhythm guitarist for the rock band REO Speedwagon.

Formed in 1967, REO Speedwagon achieved commercial success throughout the 1970s and 1980s. They have sold over 40 million records, and released their 16th and final studio LP, 'Not So Silent Night ... Christmas with REO Speedwagon' in 2009. Before that, they put out 'Find Your Own Way Home' in 2007.

Cronin joined REO Speedwagon not long after the group recorded its 1971 self-titled debut album. He recorded one LP with the band, 1972's 'R.E.O./T.W.O.', but departed soon after due to creative disagreements. After a brief solo career, he returned to the band in 1976, and has written or co-written many of the band's hits including Keep On Loving You, Can't Fight This Feeling, Keep The Fire Burnin' and Roll With The Changes. The final show under the REO Speedwagon moniker will take place in Las Vegas in December 2024.
