Linkin Park are an American alternative rock band from Agoura Hills, California, fronted by late legend Chester Bennington, and also featuring rapper and rhythm guitarist Mike Shinoda, lead guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell ‘Phoenix’, drummer Rob Bourdon, and DJ and producer Joe Hahn.

Formed in 1996, the band released their debut album 'Hybrid Theory' in 2000, which was a worldwide hit, reaching #2 in the Billboard 200. Their second release, ‘Meteora’, in 2002, gave the band their first #1 in the album chart and they continued that success with ‘Minutes to Midnight’, in 2007, ‘A Thousand Suns’, in 2010, ‘Living Things’, in 2012. The band released their latest and seventh album,'One More Light', in May 2017, which also reached the top spot.

Linkin Park unfortunately suffered tragedy in 2017, when frontman Chester Bennington sadly committed suicide in the midst of their One More Light World Tour.
