The Academy is a live music venue based on Abbey Street Middle in Dublin. One of the city's favourite places for a night out, it boasts a main room with an 850 capacity and three other rooms - the Green Room, which caters for DJs and dance events and holds 550 people, the Academy 2 in the basement for smaller/local bands, a private VIP room called the Chamber.
