Founded in 1991 initially as a touring festival (by none other than Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell), the event first branched out to Brazil in 2012, and has since hosted performances from the likes of The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Olivia Rodrigo, Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, The 1975, The Killers, Arcade Fire, Pharrell Williams, Eminem, Metallica, Kings Of Leon, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, The Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The National, Anderson .Paak, Post Malone, Alexisonfire, Miley Cyrus and many more. Lollapalooza will take over Sao Paolo's Interlagos Autodromo De Interlagos in March 2026, with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler the Creator, Chappell Roan, Deftones, Skrillex, Lorde, Doechii, Turnstile and Lewis Capaldi, plus many more.
