Louis VI is a future soul and hip hop artist from North West London. He was introduced to hip hop by his mother, who played De La Soul, a Tribe Called Quest and Gil Scott Heron to him from a young age.
He taught himself a range of instruments and how to produce at the age of 14, which all began to influence his rapping style. Initially one half of the rap group OthaSoul, Louis VI released his first EP as a solo artist in 2016 - 'Lonely Road of the Dreamer'.
He was quickly known for his live performances, and gained momentum with the release of his debut album 'Sugar Like Salt' in June 2018.
