Maiden United is a multinational Iron Maiden tribute band that formed in 2006. It is comprised of members of other bands, with the lines-up including Damian Wilson, Ruud Jolie, Joey Bruers, Marco Kuypers, Mike Coolen, Perttu Kivilaakso, and Anneke van Giersbergen.
Playing all of their tracks acoustically, the band would go on to put out their first feature-length recording, ‘Mind the Acoustic Pieces’, in 2010, a recreation of Iron Maiden’s ‘Piece of Mind’. This was followed-up by a lot touring and their next LP, ‘Across the Seventh Sea’, a collection of Maiden tracks spanning the band’s discography.
