FM are a British rock band from London, England, currently consisting of vocalist and guitar player Steve Overland, bass player Merv Goldsworthy, guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick, Jem Davis on keyboards and drummer Pete Jupp.
Formed in 1984, they released their debut album, ‘Indiscreet’, was released in 1986, and was followed by ‘Tough It Out’ in 1989. ‘Takin' It to the Streets’ was released in 1991 and ‘Aphrodisiac’ in 1992, with ‘Dead Man's Shoes’, coming out in 1995, being the last album the band released before their split that year. Returning in 2007 to perform once again, the band headed back to the studio to release ‘Metropolis’ in 2010 and 'Rockville I & II’ in 2013. Their last release was 2015’s ‘Heroes And Villains’. Back in 208, the band will put out 'Atomic Generation' on March 30 through Frontiers Music Srl.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and have supported the likes of Meat Loaf, Tina Turner, Foreigner, Gary Moore, Status Quo, Magnum, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, as well as performing at festivals such as Download Festival.
