Miles Kane is a singer and musician from Merseyside, known as both a solo artist and as the co-frontman of indie supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets.
Musically active from a relatively young age, Kane joined his first band The Little Flames age 18, who went on to tour alongside the likes of Arctic Monkeys and The Zutons before splitting. Kane then formed The Rascals, releasing one album before his big break came in 2007, when he formed The Last Shadow Puppets with Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner. Alongside Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford and Mini Mansions' Zach Dawes, the band went on to achieve chart success. He released his debut solo record, ‘The Colour Of The Trap’, in 2011 and has put out four more studio albums, the latest being 'One Man Band' in 2023. Miles Kane will celebrate the release of his new album with a run of UK shows in January and February 2024, with Irish dates and a European tour planned for that spring. Like a young Paul Weller
London O2 Academy Brixton on October 11 2013
Ive seen Miles perform live a few times and yet again he didnt disappoint. He gives 100 percent when he's on stage and that reflects in the crowd's response, every song is greeted and ended to huge cheers. He got the crowd fired up and made the entire venue dance. Full of confidence, swaggering across the stage, Miles played for over 90mins and even covered the Rolling Stones' Sympathy For The Devil, which went down a treat with the audience. I also really love his suits!
