Former Gallows guitarist and songwriter Steph Carter decided to form a new band, The Ghost Riders In The Sky. The line up consists of Carter's wife and brother, Gillian and Richard, as well as guitarist/vocalist Paul Taylor, bassist Jason Green and drummer Kris Banks.
Steph Carter started writing Ghost Riders songs in 2007, when he was still in Gallows. In 2012 Steph and Paul decided to take previous ideas and develop them. During that time, Steph had persuaded his now wife, Gillian, to write vocals for the band while finishing her degree. Kris and Jason joined the band in late 2013 and completed the lineup. However, the band was put on a sudden hiatus, as Gillian had to return to West Virginia in pursuit of a new UK Visa. Now all admin has been taken care of the band are ready to go. They will release their new single, Wastelands, on June 29 through Everything New Records. They have also lined up two London shows, on June 13 and June 24.
