Alt-J are an English alternative rock band from Leeds, currently consisting of frontman Joe Newman, keyboard player Gus Unger-Hamilton, drummer Thom Green. Bass player Gwil Sainsbury left the band in 2014.
Formed in 2007, at university, the band signed to Infectious Records and released their debut self-titled EP in 2011. The band’s debut album, ‘An Awesome Wave’ hit shelves in May 2012, peaking at #13 in the UK Albums Chart and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. They returned to the scene with the release of their highly anticipated follow-up, 'This Is All Yours', in 2014, which hit the top spot in the chart. The band released their third album, ‘Relaxer', in June 2017, and followed it up with a hip-hop re-imagining of their music in the form of 'Reduxer', which is due for release on September 28.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, and have appeared at festivals such as Latitude, Bestival, Reading and Leeds, T in the Park, Green Man, Boardmasters and Bluedot.
Alt-J will support 'Reduxer' with UK and Ireland shows in October. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

Remix albums don’t always work. The best examples refresh and reveal elements of the original songs, giving them new life and often broadening their appeal. When they fail, it is often because the tracks lack the integrity and consistency of the source material.
