Pop superstar Britney Spears achieves another benchmark with her current album, 'Femme Fatale'. This week, Spears’ seventh album – which spawned the No. 1 hit 'Hold It Against Me' and the Top 5 smash 'Till The World Ends'- is certified platinum by the RIAA. This latest news brings Britney’s U.S. albums certifications to the 32 million sales mark.

Mumford & Sons have announced that they will be performing a fundraising show for non-league football team AFC Wimbledon this month. The band are set to perform a headline show at New Wimbledon Theatre on May 9th, raising money for the South London team.

DJ and Dub Pistols founder Barry Ashworth has released a new mix entitled ‘On a Breaks Mission Vol. 2’ which can be heard here. In May, Dub Pistols are to release a new remix album called ‘Re Hash’, which features a collection of their own tracks reworked by a number of artists including former Leftfield member Paul Daley, Bushwacka, Wrong Tom, Ben & Lex, 2 Bit Thugs and Kouncil House. Barry will also be performing a number of DJ sets, as well as some Dub Pistols live shows, over the coming months.

London DJ/producer collective True Tiger have confirmed details of their forthcoming new single ‘In The Air’ featuring rappers Professor Green and Maverick Sabre. The track will be released on 12th June and follows recent single ‘Slang Like This’. The three artists have previously worked together on the Professor Green track ‘Jungle’, which was produced by True Tiger and earned the London rapper a prize for Best Dancefloor Filler at this year’s NME Awards.

London lo-fi trio Is Tropical are to release their debut album ‘Native To’ on 13th June. The album will be preceded by a single ‘The Greeks’ on 30th May. Is Tropical will be showcasing material from ‘Native To’ at a number of live dates throughout May, including three shows as part of the Dot To Dot Festival. They will also be playing an album launch show at London’s XOYO venue on 17th June, a few days after the release date. See below for all live dates.

London-based rock trio Slaves To Gravity have revealed the video for their new single ‘Silence Now’, which is the latest to be taken from their second album ‘Underwaterouterspace’. The album was released on 18th April and follows their 2008 debut ‘Scatter the Crow’. Slaves To Gravity are to tour the UK in June and July with US rockers Buckcherry and Papa Roach. Miami experimental rockers I Set My Friends On Fire have announced details of their second album ‘Astral Rejection’, which is due to be released on 20th June through Epitaph Records. The album follows their 2008 debut ‘You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter’. I Set My Friends On Fire are to tour the UK in September with Californian post-hardcore band A Skylit Drive. Manchester indie-rockers Airship have confirmed details of the first single to be taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Stuck In This Ocean’, which is due out later this year. The track is called ‘Kids’ and will be released on 13th June. Airship have been confirmed as support for Ra Ra Riot on the New York band’s upcoming UK tour. London electropop artist Frankmusik has confirmed details of the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album ‘Do It In The AM’. The new track, which is also the title track from the album, is to be released on 18th July and features Frankmusik’s Cherrytree Records labelmates Far East Movement. Last year, he featured on a track on the LA-based group’s album ‘Free Wired’.
