Company of Thieves and Civil Twilight have announced their first ever UK shows. They will co-headline two London tour dates this June.
The members of Company of Thieves are collectively grounded, and well-versed in the challenges the world faces today. These exciting - if uncertain - times are reflected in the eclectic sound of Ordinary Riches, an album that moves effortlessly from the seemingly jaunty, piano-led "In Passing" and the catchy pop tones of "Pressure" to the arena-ready sing-along chorus of "New Letters" and the Jonny Greenwood-ish guitar figures on "Old Letters." They are erudite without being pretentious, hooky without being saccharine, and plainly dedicated to its ideals, Company of Thieves' stunning debut album Ordinary Riches reveals a band very much of its time and will be available in the UK later this year.

More of the same and its great.
Think dance, punk, funk, indie, electronic. Think New Order, Prodigy, Gary Numan, Siouxsie And The Banshees and Daft Punk. Think soft, hard, digital, analogue, high tempo and steady. Think 80’s, 90’s and then just stop thinking and listen.
James Murphy’s experimental project, LCD Soundsystem have possibly saved the best ‘til last. There newly released album “This Is Happening”, is rumoured to be their last, which is sad. It is very refreshing to think that this group is a side project, not a full on attack on the charts, music channels, billboard posters or anything else for that matter to try and get rich, the group do this for the love of it.
