Dance music icon David Guetta, and legendary pioneers of electronica Leftfield will headline the first ever L.E.D (London Electronic Dance) Festival this summer.
The inaugural festival takes place over London’s stunning Victoria Park kicks off on Friday 27th August Bank Holiday weekend, and will be headlined on the Friday night by David Guetta, this will be the French house superstar DJ/Producer’ only London show this summer.

Babyshambles and British Sea Power will headline the first ever NME Weekender - a new indoor festival taking place between 5th-7th November 2010 at Pontins Holiday Park in Sussex.
The UK festival season has been blighted with unpredictable weather in recent years leaving campers wet, muddy and naffed off as the festival becomes more about survival than seeing the bands you love. The demand for live gigs is soaring despite a hike in ticket prices, according to industry figures.
Ticket sales at the UK and Ireland’s largest venues grew by 40 per cent in 2009, reaching over £500 million in total.
The figures, published in industry mag Music Week, show the UK’s live music scene is thriving.

Up until a month ago I would have jumped at the chance to see Aerosmith live. But that was before my wild-goose chase… before that moment when I was a mouse-click away from making a cyber-klutz of myself.
Now, the way I’m feeling, I wouldn’t go and see them if Sharon Stone came to pick me up in a chauffeur-driven stretch limo… OK, well maybe I’d be tempted if I could sit opposite the star of Basic Instinct on the way to the gig; but there again, knowing my luck, she’d probably turn up wearing jeans.
