Muse have revealed details of their forthcoming new album. The bands fourth studio release, and the follow-up to 2003's 'Absolution', will be titled 'Black Hole and Revelations' and will be released on July 3rd.
The album will be preceeded by the new single 'Supermassive Black Hole' on June 19th. The single will be available as a download from June 12th. Speaking about the album, and its new direction for the band, singer Matt Bellamy said "I was going out dancing in clubs around New York. That helped create tracks like 'Supermassive Black Hole'. Franz (Ferdinand) have done it very well, with that dance type beat going on mixed with alternative guitar and I've always wanted to find that." Muse will play at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee on May 13th where they are expected to air material from the new album.
The band will also be amongst the headliners at this year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds in August, alongside Pearl Jam and Franz Ferdinand. NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
