Corinne Bailey Rae Announces UK Autumn Tour & Tickets

British singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae has announced details of a UK tour for later this year, playing nine dates in nine cities this October.
The young soul singer was named the number-one breakthrough act of 2006 in an annual BBC poll of music critics and went on to claim the title of fourth British female act in history to have her first album debut at Number One.
Since those early days Bailey Rae has climbed to the dizzy heights of world fame which has recently seen her return from a sold-out North American tour and then travel to Washington DC where she was personally invited by Sir Paul McCartney to perform at the White House for President Obama.
Singing ‘Blackbird’ alongside music legend Herbie Hancock and ‘Hey Jude’ with Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Jack White, Dave Grohl and Emmylou Harris, it would be a safe assumption to say that Corinne Bailey Rae is hugely popular figure in music across the world.
Corinne Bailey Rae released her seconded album ‘The Sea’ earlier this year on January 26th, after taking a two-year break following the death of her fellow musician husband Jason Rae in 2008. The song-writing guitarist has now sprung back into the limelight with her multi-million selling new album as well as a number of festival appearances this summer. Hoping to play out the year on a high, she has announced a string of UK dates for this autumn.
