Corinne Bailey Rae will take her 20th anniversary tour across North America this summer.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will perform her 2006 self-titled debut album in full, along with a selection of fan favourites spanning her career, at shows across the US and Canada, split into two legs in May and June and in August and September.
The 23-city tour, billed as Like a Star: Celebrating 20 Years of Corinne Bailey Rae, will visit cities including Lexington, Pittsburgh, New York, Toronto, and Chicago from May 29 to June 12, before returning for shows in San Diego, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Grass Valley, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and New York between August 4 and September 25.
Between the two North American legs, she'll play previously scheduled shows in Budapest on July 8 and the UK, supporting Snow Patrol at the Live At Ludlow Castle concert series on July 16.
The tour is also bookended by already confirmed performances at Cheltenham Jazz Festival on May 3 and a one-night-only show at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 27, where she'll be joined by special guest Laura Mvula.
Tickets for the new North American shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (February 27). Her previousy announced UK and European dates are on sale now. She said:
"Celebrating twenty years since my first album feels like a beautiful full circle moment. That record changed my life and connected me with people all over the world. To be able to perform those songs again and relive those memories is a dream come true."
Bailey Rae released her latest album, 'Black Rainbows', in 2023, which earned her a Mercury Prize nomination. In September 2024, she shared her most recent single, SilverCane, a song reflecting on the 1921 Tulsa race massacre in Greenwood, Oklahoma.
Additionally, her debut children's book, Put Your Records On, inspired by her hit song and illustrated by Gillian Eilidh O'Mara, is set for release on March 3 via Rocky Pond Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers.
Ahead of the tour, she'll play three US shows this week, followed by public events in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and Brooklyn and New York celebrating her book launch.
