Corinne Bailey Rae will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album with a one-night-only show in London next year.
The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter will perform the 2006 self-titled record, plus a selection of fan favourites spanning her career, at a special concert at the Royal Albert Hall on October 27, joined by special guest Laura Mvula.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (November 7). Announcing the show with a post on social media, Bailey Rae wrote:
"Next February will mark 20 years since my first album. The songs on that record were moments from my life, and those songs went on to change my life, forever. I love them and can’t wait to perform all of them in this magical venue in London.
"I love Laura Mvula and we have performed with one another several times. I love her presence. This will be a special night for me. I hope you can join us in celebrating my debut album and 20 years of my career in music."
Bailey Rae will perform at the National Book Awards in New York on November 19, ahead of the March 3 release of her debut picture book, Put Your Records On. It was inspired by her hit song and illustrated by Gillian Eilidh O'Mara.
She'll also perform at Aviva Studios in Manchester for Billboard UK on December 2, followed by US shows early next year, and a date supporting Snow Patrol at Live At Ludlow Castle in Shropshire on July 16.
She released her latest album, 'Black Rainbows', in 2023, which earned her a Mercury Prize nomination. In September 2024, she shared SilverCane, a song reflecting on the 1921 Tulsa race massacre in Greenwood, Oklahoma.
For Record Store Day's Black Friday event on November 28, her first live album, 2007's 'Live In New York', will be released on special vinyl. A live album of her orchestral Black Rainbows show at London's Roundhouse earlier this year and a feature-length documentary about the project will follow in 2026.
