Mark Ronson And The Business International Announce UK Tour & Tickets

New York producing guru Mark Ronson has announced a new autumn UK tour to promote his forthcoming new album ‘Record Collection’.

Hitting the road in September and October, Mark Ronson will be accompanied by his new project band The Business International on the six-date jaunt across the country. Starting in Bristol on September 27th, the tour rolls through Birmingham, London Glasgow and Manchester before closing in Leeds on October 3rd.

Having brought the talented, but often wasted, Amy Winehouse into the musical spotlight, Mark Ronson has since been regarded as one of the most respected producers around, with a firm footing at the top level of the pop hierarchy.

Signing up a long list of guests to appear for his new project The Business International, Mark Ronson has progressed to creating an extremely eclectic album. Set for release this September ‘Record Collection’ features stars of the indie scene, performing to unfamiliar music, blending different musical styles.

In order to promote the album on tour the producer has had to move heaven and earth in order to cross-reference dozens of diaries for the special guest appearances. With the confirmation of this initial batch of dates, it seems Ronson has worked miracles to ensure the stars feature on his tour.

Mark Ronson will play the following UK dates:

September 2010

27th O2 Academy, Bristol
28th HMV Institute, Birmingham
29th Hackney Empire, London

October 2010

1st ABC1, Glasgow
2nd Academy, Manchester
3rd O2 Academy, Leeds

Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 30th July.
