RAYE and Mark Ronson have joined forces for a new single.

Co-written by RAYE, Ronson and musicians Tommy Brenneck  and Eric Hagstrom, Suzanne deals in soulful pop underpinned by big-band energy and finds the South London singer delivering a powerhouse vocal performance.

The collaboration was instigated by luxury Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet — both artists are brand ambassadors — and forms part of their AP x Music series, which celebrates 150 years of the brand. Ronson commented:

“I’ve admired RAYE’s artistry for years now, watching her evolution from songwriter to the powerhouse artist she’s become. When Audemars Piguet brought us together through their APxMusic program, it felt like the stars were aligning at exactly the right moment.

“This collaboration isn’t just another project – it’s something we’ve poured ourselves into completely…all night tracking sessions in London, New York and Los Angeles. The music we’ve created together carries both our musical DNA but takes us somewhere neither of us would have reached alone.”

Suzanne the first new music from RAYE since she made history by becoming the only artist to be simultaneously nominated for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards. She said:

“Everything about how this song came to exist, and this moment with Mark and AP, feels meant to be. I used to work in Mark Ronson’s London studio when I was a baby artist focusing on my songwriting craft, and always dreamed of the day I could one day work with the musical genius that is Ronson. From the feeling in my heart that the song should be called ‘Suzanne’ within minutes of hearing the music Mark created, to learning of Suzanne Audemars and the joy I feel in my bones whenever I play this song in my headphones, the overwhelming consensus of emotions is gratitude and pride.”

The new single is the first of two new tracks that RAYE and Ronson have worked on together. The other, Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News, will appear on 'F1 THE ALBUM', which is out on June 27, the same day the F1 film that it accompanies is released.

RAYE put out her debut album, 'My 21st Century Blues', in February 2023. However, the follow-up has been delayed as last October the singer shared on social media that her car had been stolen with her songwriting books in the boot.

She's currently busy on the road, though, and has festival sets confirmed at Bonnaroo and Glastonbury in June, Montreux Jazz Festival and Silverstone Festival in July, and Newport Jazz Festival and Boardmasters in August.

They will precede her biggest headline Irish show of her career at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on August 22 and a headline All Points East show in London the next day. Tickets are on sale now.

Ronson, meanwhile, put out his latest studio album, 'Late Night Feelings', back in 2019, though he did work on the Barbie soundtrack in 2023.
