Asia Reform As Original Line-Up For New Winter UK Tour & Tickets

Following Asia’s fantastic performance to 8,000 people on London’s High Voltage Prog Stage last month, the band has now announced four UK tour dates for December.
The British rock legends that are Asia formed in 1982 mainly from the ashes of former prog-rocking bands Yes, King Crimson and Emerson Lake and Palmer. Having scored huge success with their eponymous debut album, Asia proceeded to put out several more albums throughout the years but nothing came close to the quality of that first record.
Having undergone a number of band reincarnations, it’s often a tricky task to keep tabs on who is actually currently playing in Asia. However, with the original line-up of John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Steve Howe and Carl Palmer reuniting for the band’s fourth studio album ‘Omega’, the successful combination which crafted that stunning debut album has returned for the first time since 1983.
Releasing the album on April 23rd this year, having already taken their ‘Omega’ world tour to the UK, Japan and Europe, Asia are currently on the road promoting the new record in America. The band will return to the UK later this year for a five-date tour of the UK kicking-off in Edinburgh on December 10th. The group will then visit Birmingham, Holmfirth and London before concluding the jaunt in Falmouth on December 15th.
