Underworld Reveal Three-Date November UK Tour & Ticket Details

Underworld have announced three UK dates to support the forthcoming release of their eagerly awaited sixth studio album ‘Barking’.
Confirming the two shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton and Manchester’s Academy for November, Underworld will perform a feat of creative regeneration once again showcasing the material from their brand new album that is set for release on September 13th.
Back by popular demand, the demand that fuelled the duo’s creative desire in the first place, Underworld’s collaboration-laced new offering has been described as “music from a band reborn”. Featuring contributions from stars such as Paul Van Dyke and High Contrast, ‘Barking’ is even being tipped to be one of the best albums ever made by the duo.
Resurrecting themselves in the early 1990s, with Essex DJ Darren Emerson in tow, Underworld continued to set the pace of electronic music. The next fifteen years saw the band return to a duo and plot a course that took them from cult status curio selling 500 singles out of the back of a van, to soundtracking summer after summer as festival headliners the world over. Not to mention also scoring movies for director such as Danny Boyle.
So thirty years since their inception and Underworld produce what’s looking like the best album of their career. It was a bit of a risk but it seems that collaborating was just the trick. Roll on album seven!
Underworld will play the following UK shows:
November 2010
20th O2 Academy Brixton, London
25th Academy, Manchester
26th Barrowlands, Glasgow
Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 3rd September priced from £22.50, with the London show priced from £26.50.
