Alexandra Burke Announces UK Debut Tour Dates & Ticket Details

X Factor pop star Alexandra Burke has announced her first UK headline tour kick-starting 2011 with 18 dates across the UK as part of her 'All Night Long' tour.

Back in 2008 Alexandra Burke was introduced to the British public after appearing on TV show 'The X Factor', the same show that launched Leona Lewis into the music limelight. Two years later Burke's powerful vocals, which have been compared to those of Whitney Houston, have propelled her to super-stardom. Her début album 'Overcome' went straight into the UK album chart at Number One upon its release in October 2009 and has since sold more than 600,000 copies in the UK alone.

Hoping to hit the Number One spot again this weekend, the singer will be hoping that her latest single, 'Start Without You', has the same success as her debut album. With the song currently Number One in the UK iTunes chart, Burke told new breakfast TV show 'Daybreak' that: "People are liking the song and it's just really exciting. I get very nervous when a single comes out.".

The singer will begin 2011 with her 'All Night Long' tour, getting the extensive jaunt underway in Glasgow on January 20th. Staying on the road for nearly a month, Alexandra Burke will be calling in at veues in London, Manchester, Brighton and Cardiff amongst other cities.
