The Wombats Reschedule January 2011 UK & Ireland Tour - Tickets Still Valid

The Wombats have rescheduled their forthcoming January tour, and will now take place in March. All original tickets purchased are valid for the new dates.
The Wombats are currently putting the finishing touches to their upcoming second album in the NRG Recording Studios in Los Angeles. As well as being produced by Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Lostprophets), the Liverpool / Oslo trio have also collaborated on the project with super-producer Jacknife Lee (U2, Snow Patrol, R.E.M.). Although the immediately infectious punky hooks that characterised their debut album are firmly in place, their progression has been characterised with the addition of more leftfield touches and aggressive elements to their sound. The band’s inimitable charm is also prevalent, although it has been streamlined into a darker, more serious approach.
Renowned as one of Britain’s most exciting live bands, The Wombats are poised to storm back to prominence with the release of the new single ‘Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)’. The single introduces the band’s eagerly anticipated second studio album which is set to launch their unique style to a wider audience when it’s released in February.
The band's new album, 'The Wombats Proudly Present...This Modern Glitch', will be released on February 7th.
