The Wombats have added a Halifax show to their summer tour plans for 2026.
The Liverpool indie trio will headline the Live At The Piece Hall series on August 21, with support from Circa Waves, Cherryholt and The Caymans.
Pre-sale tickets via Ticketmaster go live from 10am on Thursday (November 6), ahead of general sale at 10am on Friday (November 7).
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the release of X-Rated, a new song off the upcoming expanded edition of the band's sixth album, 2024's 'Oh! The Ocean', due out on December 5 via AWAL Recordings.
The extended edition of 'Oh! The Ocean' features the original tracks along with new songs produced by John Congleton, including the previously unveiled Holy Sugar.
The band are currently touring North America and will return to the UK in December for the second leg of their Oh! The Ocean Tour, hitting arenas in cities they missed earlier this year.
They'll also headline Tunes In The Dunes on Perranporth Beach, Cornwall in June, and in July top the bill at Cardiff's Depot In The Castle festival and join Snow Patrol in headlining Splendour Festival in Nottingham. Tickets are on sale now.
Also set to appear at the Halifax concert series next summer are Belle and Sebastian, Paul Weller, The Kooks, Deacon Blue, Alex James' Britpop Classical, Tom Grennan, Shed Seven, James Arthur, Embrace, Ethel Cain, David Gray, Billy Ocean, Opeth and The K's. Get ticket details for those shows here.
