The Wombats To Headline Depot In The Castle In Cardiff Next Summer

The Wombats have announced a major outdoor show in Wales.
The Liverpool indie trio will headline the annual summer festival Depot In The Castle at Cardiff Castle on July 25. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 3.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of their new single, Holy Sugar, a new song from the upcoming extended version of their sixth album, 'Oh! The Ocean', due out on December 5 via AWAL Recordings. Frontman Matthew "Murph" Murphy said:
"Definitely a tune that has a bit more sweat and swagger to it compared to the singles from ‘OH!TO’. Felt like it was maybe time to bring a bit of dirt back to the table."
The Wombats are currently touring Australia, with North American dates lined up from October 15 to November 14, and UK and Ireland shows in December. Tickets are on sale now.
