With note-perfect renditions of the Beatles repertoire to the accompaniment of an 8-piece orchestra, spectacular costume changes and visually stunning video backdrops the Bootleg Beatles faithfully re-create 6 phases of the Beatles meteoric rise from a basement (The Cavern in Liverpool) to a rooftop (The famous Apple concert in 1969) via Shea Stadium, Sgt Pepper and the Magical mystery tour.
It is the stunning authenticity of the Bootleg’s shows, coupled with their musical credibility, that has seen the Bootleg Beatles play venues such as Wembley Stadium, with Rod Stewart and Elton John; share the bill with David Bowie and Iggy Pop; and led to the invitation from Oasis to perform at their massive outdoor events at Knebworth, Loch Lomond and Cork. These performances, and an appearance on the cover of the NME, heralded the Bootleg Beatles' breakthrough to a new contemporary audience, something unheard of for a so-called 'tribute' act.
