Take That: Howard Donald’s Mistress Speaks Up Over Their Affair

Wednesday, 08 December 2010 Written by James Conlon

Howard Donald’s mistress Adakini Ntuli has managed to get her story out to the British press after months of fighting a court-imposed super-injunction. The Take That star took extensive legal precautions to restrict Ntuli from confessing the details of their nine-year affair, however after months of bitter legal dispute she has won the right to speak out.

During the controversial interview Ntuli confessed that she did indeed have an extended affair with the Take That singer, however she declared that far from being a secretive affair, the couple regularly went out in public, even spending time with Donald’s friends.

Speaking to a British newspaper, Ntuli said: “Our relationship began as an affair but I fell in love with him. For nine years we were close, but now he won’t even speak to me. His court action has exposed his infidelity rather than keeping it secret. I would never have shared our secrets. He knows I’d never have betrayed him.”

She continued: “I knew he was in a relationship and I did feel guilty. But we went into it with our eyes open. Anyone who noticed us would have ¬assumed we were an item, not an attached guy out with his mistress. We would be in hotel lobbies together. He never tried to hide me or smuggle me in. I felt like an actual girlfriend. It felt perfectly natural to be there by then. No one ever questioned the fact that we were in a proper relationship.”

As the affair drew to a close, Ntuli expressed her anger by sending Donald a text declaring: ‘Why should I continue 2 suffer financially 4 the sake of loyalty when selling my story will sort my life out?’ The message was one of the few details of their relationship which became public through the court approved super-injunction that Donald had requested.

Meanwhile, Take That have angered fans with their decision to move a sold-out arena show to accommodate a new performance. The band have moved their Wembley tour date from July 3rd to June 30th in order to accommodate for an extra show on July 4th. The decision was treated with a great backlash, as disgruntled fans took to the bands website to express their (understandable) complaints.
