Kings Of Leon Were “Sick Of Kings Of Leon”

American rockers Kings of Leon have revealed that they became annoyed at the sound of their own music during the recording of their latest album, ‘Come Around Sundown’.
In an interview with Spinner.com, guitarist Matthew Followill said: “We were all sick of Kings of Leon! We couldn't go 10 minutes without hearing one of our songs, and we'd been on the road for two years. It definitely got annoying after a while.”
When asked about the chilly critical response for the band’s latest release, Followill stated that if anything it had restored his belief in the band’s sound. He said: “Once we've finally made it up there and we hear our songs three times every hour, it's hard to leave that. We just can't leave it behind; we've got something too good and big here.”
Despite the self-confidence, it would appear that Kings of Leon aren’t exactly still enamoured with the idea of touring. Followill showed his indifference to their upcoming live dates as he said: “I'm kind of used to it by now: you write the album, make the album then you do promotion for the album and you tour the album. I kind of know what to expect."
Meanwhile, Kings Of Leon were forced to postpone a recent concert at London’s O2 Arena due to a large tour bus fire which injured several members of the band’s crew. Luckily there were no fatalities from the incident.
