Black Eyed Peas, Chemical Brothers & Pulp To Headline Wireless Festival 2011 & Tickets

It has been revealed that global superstars The Black Eyed Peas will be heading to the UK in July to headline Friday at Wireless 2011.

One of the biggest bands on the planet, The Black Eyed Peas have sold over 47 million records worldwide, scoring hit after hit with tracks such as 'Where Is The Love', 'Shut Up', 'Don't Phunk With My Heart', 'I Gotta Feeling' and their recent single 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'.

If that's not enough, a hotbed of talent will be joining them in Hyde Park for the proceedings.

Fresh from picking up no less than THREE nominations at this year's BRIT Awards, rapper turned soul king Plan B will be heading to Hyde Park. With his last album 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks' becoming a commercial and critical success, this is one performance not to be missed.

Also joining the party will be man of the moment Tinie Tempah. With two number one singles and a number one album under his belt over the last twelve months, this will be a triumphant return for the UK rapper, who is looking forward to playing at Wireless again.

They'll also be joined by fellow UK rapper  Example, who also had a great 2010, breaking into the mainstream with two top ten singles in the shape of 'Won't Go Quietly' and 'Kickstarts', and a top five album! One of the highlights of last year's festival, he'll be back in 2011 for more!

In addition to Friday's entertainment, there'll be some 'Block Rockin' Beats' in Hyde Park on Saturday as The Chemical Brothers take to the stage to headline day two of Wireless.

One of the most influential dance acts of our times, the boys have a career stretching nearly twenty years. The duo have a massive five UK number one albums under their collective belt, and have also won three Grammy Awards.

Keeping Hyde Park bouncing, they'll also be joined by some of dance music's biggest names including dubstep pioneers Chase & Status, who last year boasted two sold out tours, won a Q Award for Best Video and were nominated for the Critics Choice Festival Headliner at the UK Festival Awards.

Hot on their heels Aphex Twin, the prolific alpha male of electronica, will send a wave of arrhythmic dance through the Hyde Park crowds when he hits the decks nearly 20 years after he released his first ever record, 'Angalogue Bubblebath'.

Bringing a soulful edge to the proceedings, singer, songwriter and high funkstress Janelle Monae is sure to wow the crowds with her truly electrifying performance style.

Joining them will be Chromeo, Battles, The Whip, Justin Robertson and Nero, rounding off a truly exceptional line up for this year's Wireless Saturday!

Finally, Britpop legends Pulp will be returning to the stage for a headline slot at Wireless on Sunday 3 July. Pulp were one of the biggest band of the 1990's, defining the sound of a generation, and scoring a plethora of massive hits in the process from the original pre-millenium doom-pop anthem 'Disco 2000', through to the legendary 'Common People'.

Over the course of their career they achieved a number of highlights - with headlining Glastonbury in 1995, winning the Mercury Music Prize for 'Different Class' and hitting the top spot on the UK album charts twice.

Now ten years after their last album 'We Love Life', the original members of the band will return for one extra special headline performance in Hyde Park on Sunday July 3rd!
