The Kills - Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart – release their new single 'Satellite' on Monday the 28th of March 2011.
'Satellite' is the perfect introduction to the band’s new studio album, 'Blood Pressures', the highly anticipated follow-up to their critically acclaimed third album, 'Midnight Boom'. 'Blood Pressures' will be released on April 4th 2011.
'Satellite' features Alison’s melancholy vocals enveloping a dub influenced guitar, building to a soaring, swelling chorus with additional vocals contributed by The REV Gospel Collective. Check out the video to 'Satellite' below.
The album 'Blood Pressures' finds The Kills with their swagger and sass intact, but with a new thoughtfulness and depth - even a tinge of wistfulness and vulnerability - to their always compelling song-writing.
