At 5pm today Rise To Remain and South of Summer (pictured above) will be appearing on the second Red Bull Bedroom Jam webcast of the season!

London based metallers Rise To Remain will be chatting with host Katie P about their early days in the band and their upcoming tour.

Six-piece hardcore band South Of Summer will be playing a live show beamed directly from their bedroom in East Kilbride to www.redbullbedroomjam.com. Amongst other tracks they will be playing their exclusive new track live on today’s show.

South Of Summer bassist Jordan Boslem said: "We are so excited about our live show on the 28th of February! We plan to make it full of energy, noise and something for our fans to remember. Definitely not one too miss, tune in!"

For 15 weeks bands are chosen using a Social Media chart called the 'Buzz Radar' that measures the amount of chatter around a band. The chosen bands play a live show filmed in their bedroom beamed across the world via the internet.

From these eight bands are chosen to join the Red Bull Bedroom Jam festival tour at five top UK festivals: Sonisphere, T in the Park, Hevy, Download and Underage.

Three Bands are then chosen by the rock industry judges to go head to head in a battle to become the Bedroom Jam champions and walk away with a recording session in the Red Bull Studios London and a supporting slot on a major UK tour.
