New kids on the block Tiger Love, after announcing their release of breakthrough single/video ‘Pussy Cocaine’, are giving away a remix of the track for free on Soundcloud.
The band have received a lot of attention from press and critics recently, and there is a lot of hype around the release of the new single – which now sees fans getting a free download of Dirty Flavour (formerly known as Endymion)’s remix of ‘Pussy Cocaine’.
Tiger Love is a London three piece formed in 2010 and comprising of brothers Roy and Gigi, and drummer Loral. Originally from Williamsburg New York, Roy and Gigi grew up in the era of electroclash listening to The Faint, Peaches and the Scissor Sisters before unleashing their own combination of funk bassline, power drums, 8-bit robotic synths, and falsetto vocals to taste like a signature dish you can't get enough of.
Influenced and inspired by 70’s horror films, The Velvet Underground and Macaulay Culkin, their own-made and self-directed video’s have already been viewed over more than 100.000 times on Youtube. The music video for ‘Pussy Cocaine’ has already been posted on hundreds of music websites and blogs all over the world and even made it to the top 10 chart on Hypem.com within a few days of releasing it.
The band are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album, due out later this year, and preparing for UK shows with support slots including Yelle, James Yuill, Yuksek, Brodinski and Uffie @ KOKO on the 23rd April, as well as performing at Sweden’s Popadelica Festival on the 7th of May.
