Former lead vocalist with Australian rockers Cold Chisel, Jimmy has achieved cult status as a solo artist without really hitting the big time. However he remains Australia's most successful and enduring male singer.
His new album, 'Double Happiness' displays a new evolving sound; building on the foundation of his rock and roll heritage he has now added a strong female element, much acoustic and a deep seam of soul music throughout.
Jimmy Barnes will play the following summer UK dates:
Olympia Theatre, Dublin - Wednesday 29th June
O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London - Saturday 2nd July
Glasgow Garage - Tuesday 5th July
O2 Academy2, Newcastle - Wednesday 6th July
