Wolfmother Announce Liverpool & London Shows & Tickets

When you put Wolfmother on, do you get that sensation where a million roaring music demons are coursing out of your belly, getting ready to ROCK, the feeling that your soul has become a vast monolith of purest head-banging fury and your head is spinning like you’ve been flung back in time to the glory days of Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath? You do? Really? That’s just not normal! Seriously, seek help. In the meantime, take a dose of Wolfmother when they play Liverpool's O2 Academy and London's HMV Forum this summer.
The Australian power 4-piece, who smash together frenzied jamming, top class rock riffs and delicate melodies came screaming out of Sydney like a Mongol hoard of four and hacked themselves a niche in the music world. Their self-titled album hit number three in the Australian charts in 2005 and won that year’s J Award and the 2006 ARIA Awards for Best Breakthrough Album and Best Rock Album. The single from the album 'Woman', won a Grammy in 2007.
Following a brief hiatus and a few line-up changes, Wolfmother released their second album, 'Cosmic Egg', in October 2009. Last month Wolfmother announced they were working on a third album via their Facebook page www.facebook.com/wolfmother, where they also uploaded pictures of them working on the record. A release date for the new album is yet to be confirmed.
