A star-studded weekend is on the cards once again for Ponty’s Big Weekend with #1 boy band and Brit Award nominees The Wanted headlining the annual musical feast in Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd on Saturday 23rd July.
Topping the bill on the Saturday night are The Wanted, the British-Irish pop boy band whose debut single 'All Time Low' reached number one in the UK Singles Chart last summer. The song was nominated for Best British Single in this year’s Brit Awards, and with 'Gold Forever', the boys have the Official Comic Relief Single for Red Nose Day March 18th. More acts are to be announced shortly.
The band - Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, released follow up singles 'Heart Vacancy' and 'Lose My Mind', along with a self-titled debut album which charted at number three.
