Brooklyn indie-rockers The Antlers are to release their fourth album ‘Burst Apart’ on 13th June. It is the follow-up to their 2009 release ‘Hospice’. The band are also due to tour the UK in May, ahead of the album’s release. The Antlers will play at London’s Heaven venue on 12th May before performing shows in Manchester and Brighton’s Great Escape festival. See below for dates.
The Antlers were founded in 2006 by singer and guitarist Peter Silberman. He wrote and recorded the first two Antlers albums, ‘Uprooted’ and ‘In the Attic of the Universe’, by himself before joining forces with drummer Michael Lerner and keyboard player Darby Cicci. Their first album as a group was 2009’s ‘Hospice’. The Antlers have previously toured with The National and, last year, they performed at Primavera and Lollapalooza festivals.
