The Antlers are an American indie-rock and dream-pop outfit hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2006 by frontman and songwriter Peter Silberman, who also plays guitar and keys, the band also consists of and drummer Michael Lerner, as well as touring bassist Timothy Mislock. Formerly, multi-instrumentalist Darby Cicci was also in the band but has since departed.
Currently signed to Transgressive Records, The Antlers are known for their expertly-crafted music which features diverse layers and a broad selection of instruments and sounds; a far-cry from their early lo-fi days. Since they self-released debut LP ‘Uprooted’ in ‘06, they released 'Hospice' in 2009, 'Burst Apart' in 2011 and 'Familiars' in summer 2014. The Antlers have announced they will tour the UK, US and Europe in 2019 celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'Hospice' with acoustic shows.
