Courtney Barnett is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician from Melbourne.
Having played guitar in a number of bands in the '00s, Barnett would go on to release her own solo debut EP, 'I've Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris', in 2012. She released her debut album, 'Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit', in March 2015, followed immediately by a string of UK tour dates. In 2017, she released 'Lotta Sea Lice', a collaborative album with Kurt Vile, which they toured across the US together.
The proud owner of her own record label, Milk! Records, through which she puts out her own music, Barnett has managed to take the UK and North America by storm from her home in Australia, and is now touring across all four corners of the western world with her unique brand of indie music, filled with witty lyrics and a unique, stony singing style.
Courtney Barnett will follow up her new album, 'Tell Me How You Really Feel', which dropped in May 2018, with tours throughout the UK, Europe, US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand!
She heads back to the UK in November. Catch her live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.

Despite its familiar elements, Courtney Barnett’s mix of Nirvana-aping guitars, Alex Turner-esque observational writing and sun-soaked insouciance have made the Melbourne singer-songwriter one of indie-rock’s freshest and most exciting artists.
