Sam Fender is an indie rock musician and singer-songwriter hailing from Newcastle.

Having grown up in a household of musicians, he picked up a guitar at the age of 10 and began writing songs by 13. After playing busking slots in small pubs for years, he eventually got noticed by the manager of Ben Howard, Owain Davies, who gave him a leg up into the business.

In 2018 came the 'Dead Boys' EP, and he followed up by winning the BRITs Critic's Choice Award in 2019. He released his debut album, 'Hypersonic Missiles', later that year.

He has supported the likes of Bear's Den, Michael Kiwanuka and Willy Mason on his way up.
