Sam Fender has shared a new single, I'm Always On Stage.
The gentle, acoustic guitar-driven ballad reflects on the pressures of fame and performing, and will appear on the upcoming deluxe version of the North Shields artist's Mercury Prize-winning album, 'People Watching', due out through Capital Records on December 5.
The song previously appeared on an exclusive six-track EP titled 'Me And The Dog', released by Fender for Record Store Day in April.
The singer-songwriter announced the expanded edition of 'People Watching' last month alongside the release of Talk To Me, a collaboration with Elton John. It'll also include the EP's title track, along with the tracks Tyrants and Empty Spaces, his version of Rein Me In featuring Olivia Dean, and two other new songs, Fortuna's Wheel and The Treadmill.
Having taken his People Watching Tour across the UK this summer, and to North America earlier this autumn, he's currently amid the Australian leg which continues with a performance in Sydney tonight (November 21).
