Saint Saviour Announces April UK Tour & Tickets

A prolific songwriter with an extraordinary vocal talent, Saint Saviour has been honing her craft via a series of bands and collaborations, most recently with Groove Armada, for several years.

She not only contributed 4 songs to their latest 2011 Grammy-nominated album - the critically acclaimed and commercially successful 'Black Light' – but also took on the role of front woman on the ensuing world tour. The subsequent profile developed her growing fan base resulting in a sold out show of her own at Bush Hall and a pivotal performance at the Little Noise Sessions, prompting Jo Whiley to comment  “(she is) completely jaw dropping…as a solo singer, she is just exceptional”.

Her most recent work, an EP ‘Anatomy’ was preceded by a support tour with self confessed Saint Saviour fans HURTS, after they repeatedly posted her YouTube clips on their facebook page. Selling CD’s with hand stamped artwork direct to her fanbase and securing a number of radio 1 spot plays from Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley, Saint Saviour brings a strong DIY aesthetic and a fervent attention to detail to all aspects of her work.  An accomplished producer in her own right, at ease within a variety of musical genres, ‘Anatomy’ is the culmination of a series of musical dalliances with Ginz the Bristol-based producer/songwriter/DJ/and head of the Multiverse group of labels and publishing collective.

Currently unsigned Saint Saviour has nurtured her fan base carefully, introducing them to her world via a constant stream of homemade demos she posts online. She continues to work across different mediums,
most recently with filmmaker and fellow Stockton girl Jeanie Finlay – appearing in Jeanie’s bittersweet documentary about their hometown’s record store and premiering the film with performances and screenings
at SXSW 2011 to critical acclaim.

Saint Saviour will be embarking on a headline tour in April before Festival appearances this summer:

Mon 25 April – Glasgow King Tuts – with The Organs Of Love

Thu 28 April – Nottingham Stealth
Fri 29 April – Hull Fruit
