The Wanted, Jessie J And The View Confirmed For T4 On The Beach 2011

The Wanted, Jessie J and The View are the first three acts to be confirmed for this year’s T4 on the Beach. The three acts are all set to take the stage for the televised act at Weston-super-Mare on July 10th this summer.
With more acts yet to be confirmed, T4’s presenter (and resident hottie) Jameela Jamil said: "You've got to love T4 On The Beach. It's the staple of every summer. This year is going to be brilliant, I can tell you that now. Get your tickets while you can because you won't want to miss it."
Tickets for the event, which last year featured acts such as JLS, Tinie Tempah, Pixie Lott and Jedward, will be available for purchase from March 25th. Fans who have registered with the Channel 4 website will be able to get theirs 24 hours before the general public.
Meanwhile, The Wanted have no misapprehensions about what to expect on their upcoming UK tour. Speaking to a British newspaper, singer Max George said: "The thing I’m most looking forward to is the curtains going up, the first note of the first song starting and then the screams kicking in. We’re playing theatres so it’ll be quite intimate. But I think the screaming might mean it’s not that intimate."
He continued: "It makes me smile. Some of the girls look like they’re going to pop. Others cry and stuff. I just hope it’s not us hitting wrong notes that makes people cry." he said.
The Wanted will embark on their UK tour this April.
