Tinie Tempah Gets ‘Frisky’ To His Own Music

Friday, 08 April 2011 Written by James Conlon

Tinie Tempah has confessed that he recently spent some ‘quality time’ with a lady friend while listening to his own music. The chart-topping rapper confessed to The Sun recently that the incident was unintentional, putting it down to his iPod’s shuffle feature and a bad sense of timing.

Speaking to the paper, the ‘Pass Out’ star said: "I was having an intimate moment with a lady friend and I'd put the iPod on shuffle, It's a nice mix of different types of music, some fast and some slow. It works well for the situation."

He went on to confess that the situation suddenly became awkward when his 2006 track ‘Wifey’ blasted out of the speakers. He said: "But suddenly 'Wifey' comes on. And the lady is looking at me like, 'Did you plan this to happen? Is this something that turns you on more?' I could see it in her eyes that this moment was awkward for me and a turn-off for her.

"I was reaching out trying to change tracks but we were kind of entwined so in the end I just decided to let it play on and we continued. It was only three minutes of a 20-hour session. Joking on last bit."

Tinie Tempah continued to say that it could have been worse – the rapper confessed to having Dolly Parton’s ‘Here You Come again’ buried within the depths of his iPod.
