American indie rock band Sebadoh, formed by Eric Gaffney and Dinosaur Jr bass player Lou Barlow, have announced a trio of UK shows for August.
Since their formation in 1986, Sebadoh have offered a wealth of songs-smithing skills and good ole' punk-rawk energy, heartbreaking lyrics and more hooks than a fishing boat. On top of their standard bass-drums-guitar attack are tasteful piano bits, swirling Moogs and organ, jittery percussion, and even some Mellotron!
In 2011 Sebadoh reissued their '94 and '96 albums 'Bakesale' and 'Harmacy'. The band have announced plans to play three UK shows this August with a visit to London, Electric Ballroom, Manchester's Academy and Edinburgh's Cabaret Voltaire all confirmed.
Mon Aug 22nd - Electric Ballroom Camden, London
Tue Aug 23rd - Academy 3, Manchester
Wed Aug 24th - Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh
