Arctic Monkeys Set To Announce Autumn UK Headline Tour

Drummer Matt Helders of Sheffield indie-rockers Arctic Monkeys fame has revealed that the bad are making plans to set out on a UK headline tour later this year.

The tour, likely to be around November, will see the band promote there forthcoming new record 'Suck It And See'. Set for release on June 6th, 'Suck It And See' will be the Arctic Monkeys' fourth studio album.

With the Monkeys already confirmed for a number of summer UK festivals as well as some homecoming shows in Sheffield, Helders told BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe that the band will most likely emabark on a UK tour in November. The dummer also hinted that some low-key warm-up gigs could be in the pipeline, saying, "we'll try and get a few sneaky ones in, yeah. I don't think it’s been nailed on."

Arctic Monkeys released their new single 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair' yesterday, April 11th.
