AC/DC Planning New World Tour

AC/DC have revealed that they are already making plans for another world trek, with hopes to top their last outing, the record-breaking 'Black Ice' world tour.

AC/DC guitarist Angus Young broke the news of a new tour to the UK's The Sun newspaper, revealing, “Now we're thinking, 'How can we ever better the 'Black Ice' world tour?' But we will," he claimed.

Continuing on the subject of the 'Black Ice' jaunt, a tour that supported the band's 2008 album release, Young explained. "We have such diehard fans, old and new. We've survived many changing fashions of music – we've outlived the lot of them."

AC/DC release their new live DVD 'Live At River Plate' this week. The DVD documents AC/DC's 'Black Ice' world tour and marks the band's return to Buenos Aires where after a 13-year-absence, 200,000 fans saw the band perform over three sold-out shows. All five members of the band attended the exclusive world premiere of the DVD last Friday, May 6th, at London's historic HMV Hammersmith Apollo — a venue that houses the U.K's largest movie screen.

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson described the band as being delighted with the new DVD, claiming it captured their live show perfectly. "I fucking love this film" he said. "It was like I'd never seen our show before. I've seen other films (of AC/DC in concert), but not one as good as this."
