Blue’s Lee Ryan: “I Think I’m On Par With Gandhi”

Blue’s Lee Ryan has never been known as the most modest person in pop, but the singer has managed to up his game this week, comparing himself with Sid Vicious and Mahatma Gandhi, claiming that he is a “borderline genius”.
The ‘All Rise’ star, who is set to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest later this month, was quick to sing his own praises in an interview with The Mirror. He said: "I was in the top 10 rock 'n' roll artists – up there with Sid Vicious. I always had that edge. But I was really young. I’m 28 now, and I’ve got kids."
Not content with his ‘rock 'n’ roll’ lifestyle, Ryan went on to praise his own intellect, comparing himself to Gandhi: "If you go on the internet and type in ‘Lee Ryan one liners’, I think I’m on par with Gandhi,"
"They say if you're left-handed and dyslexic you only use the creative side of your brain. It's very rare to be left-handed and dyslexic, so I'm a bordering genius" continued Ryan, only to be corrected by bandmate Duncan James: "A borderline genius."
The ‘I Can’ singer continued: "I always look at everyone when we're on the street and think, 'We're like sheep, or ants'. I've got a funny way of looking at things. It's because I'm dyslexic and I was diagnosed with ADD when I was younger. And I'm left-handed as well."
Blue are set to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf, Germany on May 14th.
