Following a third visit to a London ENT specialist yesterday, Duran Duran singer, Simon Le Bon, has been given the go-ahead to resume performing later this week, following a recent case of laryngitis, that caused the group to postpone the first five shows of their upcoming UK 'ALL YOU NEED IS NOW' arena tour.
The band's sold out Electronic Beats Berlin date, on Thursday 26 May, at the Admirals Palast, will now mark their first show in Europe in support of their new studio album, 'ALL YOU NEED IS NOW', following which they will return to British shores for their first UK concert, at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night (28th May).
Delighted at the prospect of getting the tour back on track, Le Bon said today "I am so happy to have been given the all-clear by the doctor, so that we can get the shows back up and running and play for the fans. It's been a very difficult week, as I know how far people had travelled to see us and hate to think that anyone was disappointed. We are working on rescheduling the shows we missed and should have news on this within the next couple of days. In the meantime, I am really looking forward to getting out there and performing again, starting in Berlin on Thursday night." Duran Duran UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:
Sat May 28th 2011 - The O2, London
