Kentucky rockers Cage The Elephant return to UK shores to play a headline shows this October.
With continuing sweeping radio support from Radio 1, XFM, 6music and Absolute the guys play these new shows in support of their second album ‘Thank You Happy Birthday’ which was released on March 21st.
Produced by Jay Joyce, the album is the band’s follow up to their 2009 self-titled debut, which has now sold over 500,000 copies worldwide (and remained on the Billboard 200 Chart for 73 consecutive weeks). The album was preceded with the release of lead single ‘Shake Me Down’ on March 13th.
The young five-piece from Bowling Green, Kentucky, Matt Shultz (vocals), Brad Shultz (guitar), Daniel Tichenor (bass), Lincoln Parish (guitar) and Jared Champion (drums), accumulated over 80 songs worth of ideas during a 2-year period touring around the globe and living here in the UK supporting their eponymous debut.
